The NEW DUE DATE for WATER BILLS will now be the 15th of every month. The shut off date will remain the same date of the 24th.

Join us for "Coffee with the Mayor" on July 24th at 8am, at City Hall.

Don't forget to register your pets at Cotter City Hall. Bring a copy of their vaccinations.

Waste Connections has increased the trash collection rate due to disposal cost and fuel allowances allowed per the contract. The rate increased $2.25 per month. This goes into effect June 1, 2026.You will see the increase on this bill.

There is NO DUMPING ALLOWED in the city burn pile without city approval or permission from the Public Works Director.  

No dumping allowed in the carts or dumpsters in the park or City Hall. Violators are subject to fines up to $1000. This will be enforced.

Business/Occupational licenses, & Alcohol Permits issued in 25/26 will expire on 6/30/26. You will receive a renewal notice soon. Contact City Hall if you are a new business.

Per the City Ordinance 2008-10, residents are required to keep their yards and residence maintained and sightly. You can find this Ordinance at https://www.cotterar.gov/city-ordinances

We can also auto draft your payment from your checking account. Forms are available at Cotter City Hall.

To register:

• Before you begin, make sure you have your current bill in hand because you must enter your name and account information exactly as it appears on the bill. (If any information is incorrect, you must contact your utility office through their preferred method.)
• To begin the registration process, click the Register link. However, this will not allow you to see your bill until the utility company does your next billing. After you submit your registration, you will receive an email where you must click the link to activate your account. At this point, you can login to your account and view your balance (but not your bill yet).
• After the next billing, you will receive an email notifying you that your bill is ready to be viewed.
• Once you have received your first bill, you can click the link and login with your email address and password to view your bill. If you wish, you can pay your bill from your account screen.

 When you sign up for Online Billing Services you will receive a monthly email notification when your bill is ready for viewing.  No more bills to file or shred!!  Simply register for Online Billing Services and you will have instant access to your account information.

(Please be aware that you will not receive a paper bill. 

However, you will be able to print a copy of your bill from the website.)
